This is a really cool old Super Stock D modified motor!
X block 59 degree
Has motor mounts
Motor has been lightened expensively
Custom Gas ported pistons 3.980 bore
Around 13:1 compression
298 cubic inches
3.00 inch crank
New Child’s and Albert Aluminum Rods
New pistons rings and bearings
All fresh, bore has a nice cross hatch
Roller cam, unsure of specs
Gear drive
Crank trigger
Hamburger oil pan
I don’t know a lot more about this motor. It was a old D modified motor that went 10.00’s in a A-body barracuda many years ago.
This is a really cool piece, you could tell a lot of money went in to this and research and design for its time.
Comes with heavily modified and lightened W2 heads. They had a sheet metal intake made for them but I dont have it.
Comes with many extra sets of pushrods, three electric water pumps. Misc W2 rockers etc.
This isn’t a fire sale. This is a really cool piece. $4,500 firm plus shipping.
