Finally broke down and replaced my 5-year old Compaq....
Now I have a Dell 8400
3GHz, 1GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive, ATI radeon vid card, DVD-ROM drive, DVD-RW drive, and a 19" LCD

congrats.. i just went from a 13" monitor to a 19" flat screen... man what a didderence..

my mom just bought a new compaq. im using it right now because its 64 bit, and i like where it is sitting as opposed to my computer (mine has a 21" monitor, why im down here idk...)
she got a athlon 64 3200+ (2.2ghz)
512mb ddr400 memory
200gb hd, dvd-rw
17" flat crt

its nice, but if it were mine id up the video (but i play games... she doesnt)
