Thinking about getting a engine wiring harness from yearone. I was looking for feed back from the people who have bought them. What do you guys think?

My son did one an it work out the first time.
It seemed to be easy to install right.

Definetly plug and play, I bought the engine/front lighting harness for my `68 B`cuda and I`ve been very happy with it.

Just bought a dash harness for one of my Demon's and have used them before all top notch work.

Year 1 gets there harnesses from a manufacture out in Cal. and the Mopar ones are the only ones you have to buy from year 1.

I know as I talked to the guy in Cal. I belive it says on the dash harness package M&H Co.(tryed to buy direct and was told if it was Ford/Chevy you could buy from my website but not Mopar)
Don't think they buy any wiring harnesses from the Evan's but could be wrong.

Yes they are cheaper on the harnesses they sell but the quality is not there AMHIK.

I bought the one for my duster
the engine wired for electonic ign
the only thing I have to change is the commector for the ballast resistor
mike

I bought all three harnesses* for my Barracuda and they are truely beautiful. Costly.... but beautiful.

*The rear taillight harness has been on inter-gallatic back order for almost 2 1/2 months now and I'm starting to get annoyed..... GRRR!

As abodybill said ,Year One has exclusive rights to the Mopar harnesses sold by M&H, but they`re correct down to the smallest detail. Anybody who`s spent time patching their harness back together (from years of abuse) will be tickled pink with a new one.

I just got off the phone with yearone and purchased the engine/forward light harness. I can't wait to put it in. Since this is my first time with doing a semi-resto. Does the harness come with a voltage regulator plug, or do I have to splice? It didn't mention it in the description.

It should come complete, ready to plug in.

I got the engine/front light harness from YearOne as well and was very happy with it. It's funny though because it came with the wiring for the running lights that mount to the hood, but I don't have that kind of hood so they just kind of hang there. The only thing that it didn't come wired up for I think was the factory tach, of course I don't know if that was a separate little add-on. I also wish that they had upped the gauge of the alternator wire above the stock 12 gauge so that I could put a new Bosch alternator on there without having to tear it up or run it on the outside of the harness. I also think I had to hunt and peck through the parts catalog to get the right voltage resistor as the one that I had originally didn't have the double prongs.

BTW I also have a 68 Barracuda 340 formula S.
