so cal
picked up this 69' today  . came with a mostly stock mid 70's 318, 727 that probably needs a rebuild, all the trim in very good shape and somebody's attempt at what they thought was body work. originally a /6 A/C car. has a couple places in the passenger lower quarter where it's going to need some patching but looks like it should be pretty solid once all the paint and surface rust is gone.

pics from the ad...

Nice start, it looks like.

Holy cow, that's a lot of bondo to fill trim holes if that's what they were doing, lol.

explain to her you are like an artist.... this is a blank canvas you are that Leonardo fellow!??

mayb e tell her it will be a masterpiece LIKE HER!??? hey, it can't hurt!!???? LOL

yes, that's for the trim holes :banghead: . car is very straight. wife doesn't mind I brought it home, just thought I was messing with her when I said maybe 3 years before it's done :burnout:

i'll get some more pics up later

Lol, it'll take 6 months just to get past the bondo, I'm still in amazement.

Congrats on the new project, looks good from here!
Have fun tearing into it.....

so far, no time to do more than start finding a home for the mess of parts, but I did get some more pics...

last one shows how optimistic? some one was. 3in wheel studs on the 71/4 with the 13in wheels

need to do a major clean up in the garage first, got to make room for parts, then I can finish pulling everything off this baby :glasses7:

got the trunk cleaned out. had to evict some ants that were making a home in an old cardboard box and ended up with a big box of parts...
going to need to do a patch on the air box where the fiber glass is broken, but that going to be the least of this :)

plan is to get this in for paint stripping / rust removal by the end of march
