Hi Folks,

Can someone give me a heads up if I'm gonna run into an issue during the following swap!

Going from a 7 1/4 rear that was in a 64 Dart to an 8 3/4 (489 case) rear that was from about a 70 Dart.

Will I run into a yoke fitment issue? 500 miles from home so no chance to compare.

Thanks

Hmmm. This is important to know. Thanks. Will buy one. Just reference those numbers? Oreillys? Where can I get something like that?

Both will probably use the 7260 U-Joint.
Conversion U-joint is Spicer 5-527X, Meritor CP527X, Precision 347, CR UJ347, TRW 20226, Napa NUJ240-0369, Neapco 2-0527

7260 U-joint is Spicer 5-1306X, Spicer 5-789X (lifetime), Precision RL7260, Neapco 1-6301, Rockwell/Meritor CP1306X

7290 U-joint is SPICER 5-1309X, Neapco 2-1175, Rockwell/Meritor CP1309X
Borg Warner 114-232

Your driveshaft will have to be shortened swapping from a 7-1/4 to and 8-3/4.

10-4 on shorten driveshaft and thanks for part numbers!
