Yoke splines

I am on the hunt for a yoke for my a727. I was looking to see if te 4 speed and the auto are the same. I found this on the 'net:

Automatic Transmissions

. 904 26 spline
. 727 30 spline

Manual Transmissions

. A833 26 spline
. A833 30 spline

I looked on e-bag and the adds refer to a 727 being a 29 spline.

Can anyone shed some light on this ?

Should I buy new or is used ok ?

Yoke with 29 or 30 will work.

The 29 spline units is the same as the 30, having one of the splines removed to relieve pressure.
