When installing a new or rebuilt converter, make sure there are no stickers on it.
When the converter gets warm the stickers come off and for some reason they like to stick on the nose of the converter and get under the seal lip.
Then ya got a front seal leak and have to pull the trans back out again.

The converter causes a whirlwind inside the bellhousing that tends to draw them to the center.

It's rare, but I've seen it twice in my lifetime.
The sticker was stuck right on the hub, and the edge of the sticker was under the lip of the front seal and it leaked.
