WHY does it have to be in the short format? They've got yall all snookered. Just record it normally and make it as short or as long as you want. Why limit yourself to a form of media recording that looks like total infected dog ***? No reflection on YOU, but the format. Just don't use it. Pretty simple.

The reason is it won't be put with the "youtube shorts". It will just be a short video LOL

Shorts have to be 60 seconds or less. Shorts can get a TON of views in a real short time and reach audiences that would other wise never know you exist. With Youtube "shorts" a viewer can scroll through and it never stops showing the shorts. Shorts, in general, are more or less an advertisement of what one may have on their channel, or a rolling bill board. Of course, some run their channel off of just shorts. All individual based.

Horse hockey. If the content is good, you'll reach your audience. You're bein played.
 
I guess what I'm sayin is, I'd rather have quality, great lookin videos, than crappy lookin vertical "shorts". .......and I'm not sayin YOUR stuff is crappy lookin cause of YOU. It's the format. It just blows mega chunks.

I like that view, I think it’s accurate-
Shorts are advertising your stuff. If the short grabs your attention in your hobby and it’s interesting enough, the viewer can click your screen name link on the lower left and get to your channel to investigate. If they like what your pumping out, they can subscribe.
