Seems so many are worried about how rich YT creators are getting off their view, millions $$$ I suppose..... It's the number one question I get asked face to face "what's it pay?".... well let me share with you that not everyday is a good day for youtubers (Can you spare 17 seconds, watch it and make me more rich???

I don't really give a chit. If it's somethin I wanna see, Imma click on it. Your stuff rates right at the top. Glad to make the donation.

I want to see a 10 sec truck or big block stroker built with all your Youtube profit.
You have to be getting rich off of my views. lol

Some people just have good on camera "demeanor" like you, so I enjoy watching.

You have to have a million subs and a butt load of Patreon members and of course Merch. A couple of the whiskey You tubers I follow are around the $75,000 mark with Patreon. They also have 100,000+ subscribers. Rick Beato has 4.5 million subs. He's doing ok for himself. He's full time too and sells his music lessons online as well. He has a list of supporters but No Patreon that I can see. Others have a huge Patreon list but no published figures for their pay outs.

The other side of it that folks don't see is how much off camera time it can consume interacting with viewers, like private emails and such, plus I try to respond to every single comment made on all videos. Couple that with family life, church life, and 50 hrs of work life a week, it can get time-crunchy! But I enjoy it as it is a part of the hobby, kind of like this FABO :) And I have honestly some of the absolute BEST viewers/subscribers on youtube. You'd be shocked what they have offered when they thought I was in time of need. For real.

I must start a YouTube channel! I need the kind of disposable income that would allow me to smash the 2007-era Dell Latitude D630 from which I'm currently posting. It puts the win in Win7, yo.

I don't watch a lot of automotive stuff on YT, so I haven't seen a ton of your videos, but I've really enjoyed the several I've seen. I agree that your onscreen demeanor is quite good--very straightforward, which I much prefer to people who are clearly trying to generate views and paying advertisers rather than worthwhile content.

This may shock you, but i don't watch a lot of automotive youtube stuff either. To be honest, stuff like the "Outdoor boys" and some off grid living channels is what I will watch - when I do watch LOL

One thing about me is it's just an extension of the hobby, so I never ask (or beg..LOL) for folks to "subscribe, hit the bell, and share... :D" But I do appreciate those that do :)

Should have used the claw side of the hammer, it would gone thru the HDD and maybe made sparks.

The OP is a nice guy and I meant no harm but vertical videos and pictures look terrible on a computer and a TV screen.

Thanks.
I don't intentionally watch youtube "shorts".
I like your theme and your content but the whole vertical video habit people have is vastly inferior.
