Hi, Like to know some info from you pros if I can, as I'm trying to get mine back to where it's suppose to be. I have a 1970 Dart Swinger 4-speed 340. I see some posts on different sizes and shapes of Z-bars for different cars, but what I like to know does the arm's that come off the tube that are angled a bit, is there suppose to be a little bend or a kink in the the arm itself. Mine is the original on the car but I think I bent it slightly years ago to put the scattershield and headers on. I'm now having the original bell housing put back on and want to have it done right. Some pictures would help. Thanks ED

If you go to Brewers Perfromance web page they have pictures of the z-bars for most all the mopar body and engine combos. On my car the arms are perpendicular to the tube looking front to back.

The arms should be perpendicular and straight, no bends.

I had to do some major hammer/welding work on mine to get the headers in...

Here's a z-bar on a '76 Duster:
