Hello, I've got a 1964 Plymouth Valiant convertible and the throttle spring popped. Thankfully we not on the road. I've got the manual and want to replace, but I'm unsure of the exact size of the spring. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Are you looking for application correct or something that will work?
I googled....
"64 valiant 6 cyl throttle return spring"
Lots of generic spring offerings came up.
If you measure the throttle closed distance and the throttle full open you can go to hardware stores like true value / Ace hardware and they have bins of springs.
As long as it can stretch without deforming and is not too stiff or too weak your in business.
This one looks promising...
I know nothing of this site...
