60 mile cruise in the '66 HP2 today. Couple stops for a beer and lunch and she still wants to hang out in a fume filled shop. Gotta love her, 45 years of bliss and still going!

You know you are a “car guy” when…

You look at your Lincoln MKX daily driver and say to yourself “I can make that look better.”

Then you grab a roll of masking tape and a rattle can of Plasti-Dip the next day and just do it.

Too much grill-in-your-face from the factory…better now!

Of course, once I did my MKX, the wife wanted her MKX done too…

After making the grille modifications, the wife decides she doesn’t like the look of the back of the car and wants me to do something about the big clear lenses on the tail lights for the turn signals and reverse lights…and maybe a subtle pinstripe on the sides…

Sure thing! Some black stripe lines around the tails plus some tint and pinstripes on the side. Also a black stripe filler between the lower reflectors on the bumper to make it more integrated.

Of course, if you do one, you have to do both.

The cars aren’t anything special, just drivers. But that doesn’t mean they have to be cookie-cutter boring either.
