I ordered the converter last year before they sold the company. Kenny went over my specs and told me I needed a 5800 stall so that's what we went with. When I finally got the car running and to the track this year, we found out that the converter was flashing at 5000 and not 5800. That wasn't...

Turbo Action would be my first call. I went with a PTC who spec'ed and built my converter. I was not happy with the way the converter was working so I sent it back and they are trying to get the converter right. In the meantime I got a loaner Turbo Action that is a basic off the shelf...

I went all the way to Vegas to make my very first pass with my brand new build. There's no better way to get the green off your back than throwing it down on the track. Bring it out, learn more about the car and have a blast. If that's not enough, I'll throw some steaks on the grille. lol

Yeah, but we were getting a false reading. That was the first time I ever touched the regulator since first fire up. When I turned it up, fuel pressure was higher than we thought. Been chasing it ever since. That one pass when it stumbled on the big end, we thought it might have leaned out but...

Yeah, that's next on my list of things to get.

Either I missed it or there hasn't been any pictures posted of the fitment issues. Sometimes it helps to have additional sets of eyes looking at something to finger out what is what. lol

Some good news. My fuel pressure issue was a non-issue. Turns out the gauge was bad. I added a 2nd gauge on the log and sure enough. It holds solid 5.5psi and the old gauge fluctuates from 3-10. Going to replace it with another new gauge and run 2 just to be sure.... lol

Nope. 100% certain I am running BLP’s. I have the conversion chart from thumper as well.

Probably BLP's but even still, 101's are big. I think I am running BLP 84-86's in mine now.

It's an old Super Comp car. 440 based stroker with light weight crank, aluminum rods, B1 heads with Jesel shaft rockers blah blah blah. The car is apart, engine refreshed but needs to be assembled, comes with a pair of PG's and 3 converters. Honestly sounds like way too much work to me...
