I would just eliminate that seal and use silicone to seal it.

Some of the most expensive oil pans I’ve bought don’t use those end seals.

I run a crank scraper so I don’t even use pan gaskets. It doesn’t leak but I can’t remember if I use end seals or not.

Either way I wouldn’t care about using the end seal.
 
You sure you don’t have the rear pan seal for a 360? 318 and 340 have the the same size front and rear but the 360 is the same as the 318 in the front but the rear seal is smaller. Any way your seal is the wrong one.
 
Assuming the 1832 is 183.2mm and the 2153 is 215.3mm, that would be 7.21" and 8.48" respectively. That is a 1.27" difference on just that one measurement. I would get a refund from Mancini and buy a good used one.

I'm thinking it wasn't zeroed out. Look closely at the scale. The Mancini one looks to be close to 150mm, whereas the original looks to be maybe 146mm. Not sure what's up with the LCD display.

Why not use a billet cover that has o-rings for seals?

I thought the SB version was NLA?

That's a lot of interest Andy. Is there any interest on your end to doing a group buy? Everyone who's interested pays some (or all) up front?
 
I'm not interested in making those covers again but I would sell my original CAD files and sign over the design rights and permission to access the tooling files for $500
The machine code files are owned by the machine shop that built the parts for me so the parts would need to be run there, but that shouldn't be a problem. They are a good shop and they have a big 5 axis mill that can carve those covers out very quickly. A person would need to be prepared to make at least 10 parts in a batch to get the cost somewhat economical. So you would want to round up 10 or more customers before pulling the trigger.

I can’t tell if it’s quite wide enough on the lower right side to clear the foot that comes off the mounting plate.

I don't know. It isn't something that I ever bothered to check since very few engines are built with gear drives. I'm sure that the design could be modified slightly to accommodate a gear drive if that was a requirement.
