That looks to be a ROMPIN' STOMPIN" race car, yeah that old style hood "needs" to go. In my opinion it detracts from the looks of the car.

Does the unit have a 5/16 or 3/8 port on the throttle plate? If so, that would be the place for the PCV hose for optimum evacuation.

Yes, the dip in the pressure is normal. I would plug the regulator vacuum hose to manifold vacuum and set the regulator to 7 PSI to compensate for the drop in pressure under full throttle.

They make the oilite bushing in 5/16" as well as 3/8". I've bought them before to replace the cheesy nylon bushing. I'll dig around and see if I can find who I bought them from.
