How is this trim attached? 68 Dart GT

I know the lower trim on this car is attached with clips but I’m not familiar with this mid level side trim.. is it attached via retainers, clips, or something similar? If it’s attached via emblem tape.. I’d rather take it off

It’s the thin side trim that starts by the side marker. It doesn’t go all the way to the rear side marker but probably 75-80% of the distance between side markers.

I may be wrong, but this looks like aftermarket glue-on trim.

Never available on a 68 GT, it has to be aftermarket stick on style...

Thanks for the tip. I also thought it looked not factory issue… as you can see, it almost runs along the whole length. Since that is the case.. it’s coming off

Looks like whoever did it really did a good job! Would look OK without the factory GT trim...
