My little commando convertible 66 Signet. It’s a fun little car, and I might take it up to the cruise tomorrow evening, it’s supposed to be 71 degrees here. Spring has finally sprung here in the Mitten.

My very first car ever was a 66 Valiant 2 door post 170 3 on the tree.
That was back in 1972.

I guess if we're coming clean on Valiants, I'll toss this one out there. It's way down the line to get some shop love but I do have plans for it. It's a 64, 170 auto with no floors, no interior, no exhaust, no brakes, and lots of other no-gots. It needs a total go-through. But I like the way it sits and the way it looks.

I have a 318/904/8.25 in a clapped out 74 Dart that I suspect will get transferred to the 64 along with the front discs and maybe a 4-speed too. From my other junk cars I think I can come up with enough stuff to make this one whole. It would make a fun little sleeper if it comes out right.

Those floors remind me of Vixen and all the work I did to her.

And my I add this. So many times LESS is BETTER! Another way to say it, is LESS is actually MORE!!!
Not everyone has the desire or ability to own a 71 Cuda or 69 Charger, or 68 Roadrunner and so the models that were born with less become the objects of our affection and desires.

If we count our smiles per mile and grins per $, and friends made...that is what makes our hobby what it is!

I think my favorite Valiant is a 1969. The grill makes it. I had a 68 273 Factory bucket seat 4 door car at one time.

You don't see too many Valiants that are being shown off. I recently seen a really wicked '67 Valiant with a 408 under the hood that looked really mean. I mean, it's no Dart, but damn they can be real mean looking!
I love the early Valiant I have a variety of them
