Man, you're really getting into the fancy stuff! Very cool. The car is going to be soooo sweet! Oh, what's the adapter where the oil filter goes? Brand?
Typical of your work, top notch!
Beautiful...
Intimidating...
I'm almost ready to pay off my BMP block, which puts me about 4 months behind schedule. I'll be satisfied if I have the 541 built and in by 10/2022 now, because I think I may need that long, unless my income improves this year. I was hoping for 10/2021.
I'm guessing that's a little larger bore than the 4.50 with the same 4.25 stroke?putting together a 543

I'm calling it a 541 but it's a 540.7...
That is something that stood out along with so much regarding the "new" design BMP aluminum block. 4.50" stroke w/out clearancing. I haven't discussed an external pump, but with a 4.25" stroke, I wouldn't expect to need or want one, besides, the Wraptor serpentine belt, pulleys, and accessories system may make adding any additional belt driven anythings to it..."challenging", especially for me. The work you're doing OTOH is outstanding and maybe you could come up with something if you had to.440 Source
4.500” stroke x 4.380" bore
Use 2.2” journals and barely clears the cam. Needs plenty of block clearancing and an external oil pickup.

Don't want to hijack!!
THANKS @mosleyme !!
@mosleymeAny updates on your Barracuda?
I have Dakota Digital gauge clusters in both the 65 GTO and my 70 Roadrunner. There were speedo cable clearance issues in the GTO, so I used the DD version of that same device, a GPS based speedometer that converts data to mechanical rotation of the speedometer cable. Works great! Also bought a cool new part for the car.
Great to see you working on her again!AC, tensioner, and alternator sorted out.

Tensioner is for a "2003 F150 4.2L V6"
Belt I wanted was for a Porsche 911 or a BMW M3; local store did not have it, but the 10mm (3/8") longer belt for a 2023 Stingray was in stock so I went with that option.
Alternator is for 1997-1998 Dodge pickup.
So... Your awesome custom build and layout uses "common Auto Parts Stores' over-the-counter parts"...Excellent! Easy goin'!!AC, tensioner, and alternator sorted out.

That's really considerate of her..my wife bought me a coolant recovery tank; it fits and clears stuff.

(although it requires a number of different manufacturers, models, and years to get them)
The belt may be the most challenging part to get in the future...Is that belt made of a composite material that holds up with age if stored properly?
Yes, fluid level indicator. Its a recovery tank, so 2/3 full cold should be fine. That's really considerate of her..
In this picture, is what appears to be a vertical tube I have indicated w/the yellow curly brace a fluid level indicator? If so, that's really handy!
