1972 dart swinger
Original 318, 2 bbl automatic 904, power steering, air conditioning, manual drum brakes, 7-1/4 small bolt pattern rear. Located in Norco California 92860
I bought this car for my little brother and he has lost interest in it. We have owned it for a little less than a year and have done very little to it. When I bought it, it was not running because of a small fire under the hood that melted some spark plug wires and some vacuum lines and also blistered the paint on the hood. I believe the fire was caused by a power steering leak as that is all I could find that was leaking. I have done plugs, wires, replaced some vacuum lines and tuned it up a little. The front and rear seats have been recovered and I have not pulled them out to look for a build sheet. The fender tag is still intact on the fender. This car currently runs and drives great. I would call it a good original condition driver quality California car. It has not been hot rodded or messed with. The previous owner had a 20 foot paint job done over what I consider spots of low quality bodywork. It was originally yellow with a gold vinyl top. There is evidence of some quarter panel rust repair behind the passenger rear tire that has been fixed poorly. The trunk drip rails will need some attention also as there is evidence of rust there that has been painted over. The only other rust on the car is a small spot on the firewall below the cowl that the pictures will show. The floor pans and trunk pan are in good condition and do not need replacement. I have tried to be as honest and forward with all I know about the car and I feel like I am offering it for a fair price.
