I have a 2010 Challenger R/T and AlfaOBD. I think the reason no one will share their config files is because they are specific to EACH vehicle. Using different files is asking for problems unless you inspect/change EACH line item comparing it to yours. I recently upgraded the BCM in my Gen 4 2500 Diesel and it took me weeks to review everything and make all the changes. I basically made two side by side speadsheets in EXCEL.
I'm not planning on building up a BCM or ABS using someone else's files. I simply want to look at what settings are available.
As an example, here is what I have from the ABS in my old R/T:

Note that there is a line "PCM Brake Switch: Released". This makes me think that the PCM is telling the ABS module that the brake pedal isn't being pushed and leads me to believe that as long as the PCM is hooked up so it knows that I wouldn't have to worry about how the ABS module knows it.
But this is from a 2105 Challenger with the next generation of ABS module. I just want to know what settings are available in the 2008-10 modules to see if I can work anything out. And the only reason I want the BCM read is because often times the BCM is the programming gateway for the other modules so I am curious to see what settings are there to see if it would influence how the ABS module is setup. As an example, the 2010 SRT8 cars had a 3 mode ESP. I guess some of the R/T's could have it too, but I think it was standard on the SRT8 cars. I am curious if there is a setting for the 3 mode ESP in the BCM, because it could be that by setting it to Yes and re-configuring the ABS, it can be turned on. But I am just guessing because I don't have anything at all to look at.
And if people are worried about their VIN, just delete the line and save the file.
@DA4AD it sounds like you have exactly what I need. I'm not going to do anything nefarious with it, nor do I have a car I am going to mess up using your info. So, would you be willing to do a read from the ABS and BCM and send the text files to me?
