I saw that 67th and Bell was going last Saturday. Does anyone know if the Pavilions has opened back up?

It’s looking this weekend will be the last with decent temps until September.

A few of us never quit going to 67th and Bell LOL but it is officially back up and running. Pavilions not sure?

I would go to 67th and Bell but, I have the front of the car taken apart. I am trying to get the remainder of the body work finished.

I removed the right fender, to get a better angle to pound out some of the dents and when I did I found 3 rust outs behind the fender, that could only be seen with the finders off. And 2 rust outs on the left behind the fender

I am fitting and welding new pieces of metal into the rust outs. I really did not see all the body work it needs, probably because I did not want to see it.
I have painted the car 2.5 times since I got it. once I finish the bodywork, once and for all, I will get the car painted again, professionally.

Who do we know locally that does, relatively inexpensive paint , but I am not looking for a hack job. That I had already done 2.5 times by myself

Went to Pavilions.still closed off. Manager at Mickey Ds said it won’t open back up until they start allowing large crowds. Had a Duddly Do Right on a golf cart chasing people off.

Had an overflow of cars at Mixteca last night, must be the only show in town.

I would bet if you asked any classic car owner. car shows are more essential than churches, synagogues, liquor stores and abortion clinics

They did almost 300 covid antibody tests free to vets $40 to the public and the mayor of Glendale was there

Pawned: i need some welding done on my 65 barracuda gasser project
I am not very good, but I am willing to try. Or do you just want to use my mig welder? PM me

Next day: Was this a joke that I did not get??? I keep checking back to see if you really need something

i do need things welded on my 65 barracuda gasser project
Do you want to use my mig welder. I will bring it over. but if it is a larger job, I do not think this will do the job. I am not a good welder. I can tack things in place but beyond that I am not your guy

I could probably tack in the floor pans.
Going on my limited knowledge, I would guess that a stick welder would be your best choice for the final welds.
They seem to lay down a larger more substantial weld bead than the skinny wire of that my MIG welder uses.
The only welder I have ever used is my MIG welder.

Mig is appropriate for that job

anyone that can help with my gasser i appreciate it, i'm a partially disabled army combat veteran with back/knee issues and i have plenty of ground clearance underneath car and sits on concrete slab 22' x 81' behind rv gate but only issue is my 220volt outlet is inside 2 car garage on other side of single level house. so either run extension cord or move gasser to front of garage. i do have a new full argon tank but my welding machine i got from harbor freight doesn't work with it
