I just purchased these Chrysler 300S seats for less than I could buy supplies to recover my current seats. I know I have seen posts somewhere about doing this, but I cannot find them anywhere?
Has anyone ever used 300,Charger,Challenger seats in their A body? I know the front seats will fit, butI am hoping can make the back seat work too.

Well it looks like it will work really well! These are just sitting in there, but they fit like a glove! I'll share more as I get further along.

Back seats are in for good. They are a 2 piece seat since in the 300 they fold down in 2 different sections so I used a couple pieces of 1/8" x 3/4" aluminum flat stock at 4' long to hold them together. These pieces also hang the seats from the stock upper hangers and bolt them to the rear fire wall. In the second photo it shows the gap between the seat bottom and the side of the car. I will cut a piece of foam to fit there and wrap it in black vinyl.

More on the front seats to come.

Amazed that 300 seat fits and is actually smaller than stock seat. Especially since the 300 is a "full size" car, and our A bodies were considered compacts lol

I did some layout work years ago when I was trying to figure out how to setup my garage and was stunned to find the a '74 Duster without bumper guards was almost the exact same width and length as a 2015 Challenger. Certainly there are differences, and the Challenger is some 5-600# heavier, but overall length and width are almost spot on.

Sorry to hijack, but the picture of the new dart seats in the Cuda had me wanting to show my wife. The post is gone, and am hoping original poster could pm me. Thx

Fronts are in. They sit high, even after I shaved the factory bench seat mounting hump on the floor. I am 6' tall and they are fine for me. Much taller and they would be uncomfortable. The seats themselves are very nice! I am super happy I chose them.

What year did to get these seats out of?

I have an update on my seat installation. They are permanently in the car and wired up. Now that I have full battery power, there is more adjustability than I realized. The headroom is quite good. It is definitely as much or more headroom than my 2010 Ram truck has. The seats are super comfortable and they were a great choice for me!

Looks great! Happen to take any pics of said shaving of bench seat hump?

And were you able to use the stock seat belts from the Duster or go to something else?

I'm glad I could help! If you would consider subscribing to my channel I'd appreciate it. I'm really close to 1000 subscribers and youtube really promotes videos alot more once you hit 1000.

I left a comment on the video, but I’ll ask here as well. Was this additional adjustment/headroom reflected in the video or did you discover the improved headroom after you made/posted the video?

If you're a long legged 6'3" you'll be fine. The additional room I found was in the seat adjusters themselves. I have about the same head room as in my 2010 Ram truck.

Who would have thought. I can see the fronts fitting, but the nice fit for the back seat is a bonus. I guess a modern "Full Size" car is the equivalent to a 70s mid-size car. I have been wanting 6-way power seats in my 69 Barracuda for quite a while. I wonder what just the front seats would cost?

I am sure you can find some for a good price. They are common and were available for several years. Charger, Challenger & 300 should all work.

Any chance you got weights on everything? I'd like some updated seats but I would like to keep the weight down if possible.
