Have them or had them... the pups are pretty special. This kicked off in the Coffee thread... thought maybe having a place to share pictures and stories would be cool.

Shepherd/Mastiff mix... rescue pup.

She's never much more than an few feet away at any given moment.

Here are my knuckle heads.

Little white one is Maya. She is about 8 years old and runs the house. The boys are scared of her.

Brindle with very little white is Dexter. He is about 6 years old and a crazy man. So full of energy and really athletic.

Brindle with a lot of white is Franklin. He is about 5 years old. Big baby. He is so laid back most think is is 10+ years old.

Gotta add the kitties in here too. Lol

Small one that is mostly black is storm. She is about 6 months old.

Larger one with a lot more white is Stryker and he is also 6 months old. He is storms brother from birth.

The kittens have been a great addition. Funny as hell watching them when they are all wound up. Got along with the vicious pitbull from day one. Lol.

Meet Benji. A pound rescue. I have a love for beagles, but the wife and kids liked this guy, so here we are. He’s slowly accepting us, as I think he may have been abused earlier in his life. Hates fly swatters, loud noises, and the vacuum cleaner. And thunderstorms.

Charlie was adopted by extended family originally, but circumstances changed for them and we were able to bring him into our home about 7 years ago.

Darcy is my wife's Cocker/Brittany. Red is my Rhodesian Ridgeback, he will be 5 next month.
 
This is Maverick. Next weekend I get married and I recon he becomes my responsibility. Part poodle and park Bernese. Doesn’t shed a piece of hair so he’s allowed to hang out in the house.

^^^^ Notice how he goes to the top of the bed, in the middle and lays sideways to take up the whole thing at the top and not leave me any room.... ^^^^

Meet Hannah, my girlfriends 11 year old 5 pound rescue. She was found wandering the streets. Poodle, chihuahua, something mix. She’s fierce as hell when she gets protective but if you rub her belly it puts her in a trance. Like a shark.

Dixie.1 st pic I was sweeping out my Freightliner so I put her under the bunk and when I finished I couldn't find her so I pulled the microwave out and she was hiding .She was 8 weeks old and 7 years now.The other dog is MeMikes

Here's my menagerie.

Ziggy in front came from the SPCA

Dale, big black one found in the middle of the road, he was chipped, owners were in Japan and left him with relatives who dumped him. Said keep him.

We found the one in the middle on the side of the road, took 3 days for her to come to us, brought her home. Found out she was pregnant with the one on the left...her only puppy. We kept it too.

First pic: Daphne (black cane corso) and her pup DJ (Dalton Jr, brindle half cane corso, half dogue de bordeaux aka DDB) in the first pic from June. He's a year old tomorrow. One of eleven healthy pupies Daphne had last year.
Second pic is Daphne and Dalton (full DDB) two years ago when we stopped to have a picnic with some barbeque. Unfortunately, he passed at 6 years old before we knew she was even pregnant. DJ was the pup that looked the most like his dad, so we had to name him after his dad and keep him in our family.

Bella, although we affectionately call her “The Honk”, because she is always leading with her nose. The world of a dog must smell pretty darn good!
