Is anyone running a GPS speedometer in there 1/4 mile car? Trying to avoid 135 mph....Any experience? I can put a collar with magnets on my Dana 60 yoke for a pick up if GPS doesn't respond quick enough.
I think @ab7fh runs a complete digital dash. Maybe he'll chime in whether it's a GPS speedometer
i was looking at them last night! cool lil gizmo!! lil pricey, seen some cell phone apps for similar deal but ant researched them nuff to know if any good! Also investigate (I don't know all the brands/ models) those "performance monitors" for lack of better, G-tech is just one, which can give you other valuable info for tuning etc

I use little "thrift store" Garmin typically "nuvi" models for speedos and they would not be quick enough to respond.
LOL.. I use the app on my phone as well. Of course I throw it on the passenger seat and really it's just kind of a joke because I drive whatever speed I feel like I should be driving.. (I've been driving a while).. but I love to come home and show my wife the top speed... She always says "HOLY CRAP!"...I use an app on my phone. Only thing is I have to delete the info cause my top speed shows up and it is consistently above the posted limit. Kim
I got stopped by the po po. He has 2 questions. R u in a hurry? He says : do u know how fas u were going? I answer no and yes. I was gonna tell him that if I was in a hurry I’d be going a lot faster. It was after midnight and very light traffic, he says : slow down and have a good rest of ur trip. I say Thank u officer. KimLOL.. I use the app on my phone as well.
