internally or externally balanced?
I used a TCI Rattler and it took a lot of vibration out of the motor. Nice piece.1970 340 according to the numbers on the block.
Looks to be a cross flow.OK, I can't tell from just that. I was trying to figure if the rad was a vertical flow or cross flow type. In VT, I'd expect very little of sitting around in traffic, plus relatively cool temps. That all has to help keep things cooled.
Had bad motor vibes from my 67 spec 318. Went to a 904 from a 727 and greatly reduced the vibration. Pulled 6,500 all day long! That's an intersting design. What was the motor you had it on?
I`m sold on fluid dampers !Fluidamper or Innovaters West.
There is a brand new FD for sale right here on FABO.
OK, I thought it might be from the top edge pix; the tubes would be horizontal. I have to wonder if that has something to do with why it cools well. I have been looking at Griffin crossflows....Looks to be a cross flow.
Got the flash light out and found that it's northern radiator #9602OK, I thought it might be from the top edge pix; the tubes would be horizontal. I have to wonder if that has something to do with why it cools well. I have been looking at Griffin crossflows....
