Original Super Stock HEMI Dart LO23

11.20's right out of the box, but that is with slicks and a thorough thrashing to make sure everything was done correctly and a little more safety stuff thrown at it, low tens with a weekend of work...
Damn!!!!!!! That's cooking with crisco! I knew I always wanted one for a reason!

I forgot to mention learning how to drive it also! My car was a factory 4-speed but it only lasted a couple of races before the original owner put an automatic in it...

Comellas won class at Gators and Reading this year in their LO23 car. They also won Indy, but that was in the stick car they use for shootouts, a BO29 replica. Those original cars are still winning.

IIRC, the majority were automatics. I spoke to a guy years ago that bought one new with a 4spd & he converted his too. I'd love a 4-spd, but then again & enjoyed my C/G, 4-spd Pinto--lots of power, not much wheelbase!

Found this in my archive.
Not sure I have seen it here or anywere else before.
Anybody have any info on it.

I picked up the official authenticity guide to the 68 hemi dart and the 68 hemi barracuda on amazon.com and it is the very best book I have ever seen on these cars. It has every spec for building or identifying these cars. There is so much information in this book it will blow your mind. Every question you could have can be answered reading this book. Probably the best $20 I have ever spent for the wealth of knowledge this book has to offer. I would highly recommend this book and I have to a few people. The best thing about it is if you don't feel this is not the best book of knowledge, you can always return it, but I am willing to bet that you will keep this book in your Mopar library for many years to come. I do not believe you will return it but keep it at arms length always just for the knowledge.
Hello scampman, What is the name of this book and is it still availability. Thank You Very Much. I really appreciate it. Sincerely, Bernie S.

These cars were slated to get 15” “rollers” but they found they would not clear the fenders so the substituted them with 14 inch rollers.
I see that now. 7.75x15 for the rear D70x14 for the front.

Artioli Dodge car show today, he did a drive by and then into the show. This is the original Chick Brignolo car. He said they bought the car from Chucks widow, 2nd owners.
