I am needing some help determining what I need. I have a 72 dart that came with a cardboard headliner. I am replacing it with a 5 bow cloth headliner. I have the headliner, bows, rear wires and clips. What I need help with is the roof mounted shoulder belt retainers.
It's been 20+ years since I removed them but here is the style I had on my 72. I am pretty sure they just slipped onto the cardboard headliner. I can't remember them being screwed to the car. Doest anyone have a photo of a 72 with a cloth headliner using these retainers? How do they attach to the car?
I bought a set of these for a '71 thinking it included everything I needed but something doesn't seem right. The bracket holes do not line up with the holes on the car side in the roof. Am I missing another bracket?
If the above is all I need, does anyone have a photo of a 71 with these brackets installed or the location of where how they installed?
