The photo you posted shows a six-sided rivet. I thought you said they were pentagonal (aka - 5-sided).

I don't have to go to a show, I just need to walk to the garage.

I only have to walk through my shop with 6 cars, back to 64 when they were spot welded on. Everything forward 6 sides, including the blurry picture you posted earlier.

And all the GM cars used the 5 point MOPAR rivets too. NOPE they are also 6 point, so are AMC. I think my 1989 BMW 635 CSI M6 was also a 6 point rivet.....

Was not a Manufacture mandated rivet. It was a FEDERAL mandated rivet.
