So I had an idea on this new fuel tank. Weld in a bung for a tank vent/roll over protection valve on this stock 66’ fuel tank. Fuel puking can be a real issue. So I bought this steel pipe bushing at a hardware store. It must be steel to weld to a steel tank....

That looks GREAT. For guys that can't tig if you have oxy-acet you could silver braze it, or if mapp gas or even a GOOD LPG torch, get that Harris "stay silv" silver braze kit which is a small roll of small gauge med temp silver braze / solder. comes with that and acid flux
