Well I bought a dual snorkle scoop at the mopars at the battleship. Here's a rough pic of it mounted on my steel hood before paint. Its a crappy cell phone pic and makes the car look pink but its all I have.

ENJOY

Looks good, I have the same scoop laying out in my backyard for my Dart

Mother Mopar sure knows how to design our fresh air supplies :icon_smi:
The dual snorkle scoop is proof of that 8-)8-) Congratulations viperredduster:grin:

Looks good.
Ever notice a striking resemblance to these hood scoops and the side scoops used on '69 Coronets?

I saw a scoop like that at Mopars at the Battleship, almost bought it. Not sure if it is the same one you looked at and bought. I like that style, don't think they ever came on a dart but I wanted it for mine.

ya looks really good were putting one on my moms 340 duster

i just ordered one for my scamp.

curious though.... how do you make the 4" holes
for fresh air, im thinking large drill bit and jigsaw?
either way i want to get holes drilled before i take
the car for paint next month.

Not sure my dad ended up knowing the guy that had and I couldnt pass it up for 180 bucks so now it is on my gloss hood that I figured I would never cut up hah.

We didnt go the oem way. I just cut out the big triangle between the braces and the scoop will cover it all up.

Vfn fiberglass has them for 110 plus shipping I thinly the total was 165$ shipped last I checked

Any one use the VFN scoop??? Looks good in there pic. Just wondering if it is the "factory" size? And if it fits the dart hood, or the duster hood? Correct me if I am wrong but I think the two are deferent???

Sure would be nice if the scoop is correct. Allot cheaper than the $300 every one seems to want for them!

I put one on my 73 Duster and painted it flat black.....

AAR sells those. I got mine from him and he made it with a bigger than stock opening.

One of my favorite scoops..only one I like better is the Challenger T/A one(as it sits a bit higher and actually kinda works)....I wanted a scoop like yours pretty bad..but when I wanted one it must have just hit HORRIBLY....I could not find one anywhere..could not even get AAR to make me one...they kept saying sure, its coming, next week but after 4 months of that crap I gave up and did a 6 pack scoop....I still think it looks better with yours. but when the 6 pack is all thats available thats what you take :) and im sticking with it now :)

Any one try this co. scoop?? http://www.dantesparts.com/hoodscoops.html
Not cheep, but looks nice. I just want to make sure I get an exact reproduction for my 73. Kinda worried about getting one that is not quite right. May just wait till the Mopar Nats in OH and try to find an original one.
