Well I was sitting is typical (NJ) route 80 traffic (a commute that should only take 25 mins take 45 on a good day lol) this morning and got to thinking about some of my all time favorite movies that dealt with action and race seens of older muscle cars. So I was wondering what some of you guys feel are good muscle car movies?

I will start this off. My current favorite ( and has been for a while) is Highwaymen. The Barracuda in it is just plain mean!!!!!!

Dirty Mary Crazy Larry.

Dirty Mary, crazy Larry. That show was awesome back then. There's a lot of them, I almost forgot about all the newer shows. The old ones I think are best. Bullit, with that black charger. Wait, I just noticed, why do the mopars always get killed off in the end?

When your twelve watching it on a 13" black n white its hard to pick up details. All these years , I thought it was a dart. Thanks for the correction as I own a valiant, now I like the show even more.

Mine is by far, no questions asked, Vanishing Point. I have watched it 10 times in the last month. I am also planning a route to see some of the filming locations after my dart get the V8 in it.

Vanishing point!

This line has been in my head since I was an early teen. "Yeah, it's hopped up to over 160. - Whoo! But even so..."

The movie "Hollywood Knights" had a TON of muscle cars in it as well as a lot of up and coming stars like Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert Wuhl, etc. If I remember correctly, most of the cars were Bowties and Blue Ovals (puke), but nice and rare nonetheless. Really funny too. Not for the kiddees though. Rated R if memory serves.

Here are a few stills I have collected. :)

Can't forget "The Wraith", is wasn't no "Vanishing Point" or "Bullitt" but I liked it for sure.

I thought Death Proof was pretty lame, but the cars (all of them) kept it from being a total waste. No, I didn't shed a tear for what they did to the Challenger.

I always talk about "The Wraith" to people and they don't have a clue as to what Im talking about, glad someone else remembers it...lol. Cool movie!!:glasses7: Thats a good pic ....most I have seen were just of movie clips and not very clear, I never knew the rear was so long, most of the shots were of it coming at you if I remember correctly.
