I am going to buy a new set of wheels for my Dart. I have a few to pick from and have not decided yet. Which do you think would look better? If you have a Dart with the wheels posted, feel free to post a picture. The rear wheels will be 15 x 7 with 4.25" backspace.

This is what I currently have on the car. The 15 x 8's on the rear are too much with the 245-60 tires. So I am going to 15 x 7's. I had to roll the wheel lip to clear the tires and I want to roll it back down to where it supposed to be.

My Rollers. I'd go with the Rocket wheels Top left.

Mine are 5in up front 8in in the rear.

well having a light colored car , I would tend to go with a wheel that has contrast, something with a darker center and chrome lip. I love rallye wheels , but im old school. the torque thrust type wheels always look good with dark spokes. im kind of over the cragar thing myself.

The factory rallyes are too common. Go to a Mopar show and your car will look like all the rest. I like MileHighDart's wheels which kinda look like your bottom right wheels. My favorite is the top left. Just my $.02

How did you LBP your rear end? On my 69, I used c-body 11x2 drums and B-body length axles. This pushed my rear track out wider. You may, depending on how you set the rear up need a more positive offset. On my car to center a 15x8 wheel I need a 5.5" backspace.

In MilehighDart's case, he used A body length axles and kept the stock rear brakes keeping rear length the same, so what fits his car will but the tire into or too close to the quarter panel on my car. And I so with I could run those Rev 100's....

This is all if you used an a body 8-3/4 housing.

I like the drag lites... keep them and run them- they're very light weight and made from forged aluminum - you already rolled the outer lip -unrolling it will likely not work like rolling it did... if anything trade the 15x8 for 15x7's, get a pair of MT 235/60/15 drag radials, and spend the new wheel/tire money you planned here on converting the rest of the interior black

well, those are all really nice choices....I'd have a hard time picking one as well....I do love rallys, on the right car. For yours, I'd choose the cragers, for the classic timeless good looks. It's hard to beat them.

I always thought that a set of the FR500 replica wheels would look nice on a Dart. I was going to go with them on mine, but since it was going to be more of a street strip car, went ahead decided to not go with them since they had more of the pro touring look. You would have to mill the centers a little to make them work I think, but would have been worth it IMO. I still like the heck out of them.

I'm for the cragars or gray torque thrusts

The rearend I used was a C body but I had it cut down to A body specs and bought new a body length axles with big bolt pattern. I also kept the C body brakes, 2 1/2" wide shoes.

Clinteg, that is one bad a$$ maverick. I am not a ford man but I would have to drive that one.

Keep it coming people. This is a hard decision. The opinions and pictures are helping though.
