sad day in Mopar history

-
There was another one last year where the guy ran out of gas, called his family member to put fuel in it and he takes off down the road like a bat outta hell. He looses control of his car B Body with a HEMI and cuts the car in half. The Hemi is sitting in a field. Driver was killed instantly. I am sure someone has a link to it.

Ouch! Hopefully, driver o.k.. Damn,68/69 GTX,Roadrunner ,my favorite b bodies.

Yup, but that was a 70 Cuda, car was torn in a few sections, Hemi was laying out of the car in the weeds.....yikes

damn, some people have more money than brains...or driving skills:eek:ops:

Looks like the jet ski was the cause of the accident! Must have pulled out and clipped the front fender sending him into the pole. I should have been an accident investgator!!!

I have and have had some quick cars. Never done anything close to that stuff- a built car doesn't defy the laws of physics...be careful, use your head. The older I get the better I am at it

I'm thanking the throttle stuck on the cuda . There are pics of the car befor the accident and the throttle cable is at a crazy angle like the bracket was to short . And if you dont thank quick with a stuck throttle . And shut it down . I'm betting well over 500 hp . All I can say is nothing he could do but hang on for the ride .

As crazy and horrible as it is that was common stuff in the 60s and 70s ..with power comes respect one way or another,be safe guys. but I will say that cuda is as bad as I have seen!!!

That Cuda was viper powered when I first met that guy. He thought a lot of it, so much that if he thought your car wasn't good enough to be parked next to it, he would tell you to move.

Weird hood on the Cuda & obviously the roll bar in it didn't help.
