It's going to be a driver... No need to be perfect, just so they work....

The kid has a plan to get this thing on the road soon and we need to get the minor things in order to make it complete...

Cool. I'm off to go buy a hawg so I'll check the boxes in a couple hours, yours for free if I've got them. I've got a bunch of misc pieces for dash stuff if you find you need something

We went whole. 263 pounder. Total cost of hog plus butchering/smoking etc comes out to just under 1.50 per pound. Not gonna find that price in the store
 
Heck store brand bacon here is 4.99 per 12 ounces..... name brand is 8 bucks a pound!!!

But still not close to what you are getting. Is that weight and $/lb on the hoof or finished? How much wt is lost in butchering?

263 pounds hoof. Estimates are about 180-190 pounds of meat since were literally getting every thing possible done. I used the 180 estimate as my price per pound figure
 
So, i was drinking last night, passed out, had a dream that i was drinking, then i woke up and i was drinking.. i don't know whats real anymore! And just for the record, I'm drinking..

Thanks. I went and marked it out today, plenty of room for a modest 40x80 shop if I wanted and I'd still be 20 feet from the easement, I can go as close as 5 feet from the property line legally per the zoning ordinances. But I'm not gonna push the envelope
 
I met an old friend today for the first time in years. He's american, actually. From Des Moines, I believe. He's an artist (illustrator, designer) and he has a little booth at a design exhibition in Gothenburg this weekend. I went in to see him and buy a print off him that I really liked. He posted it on Facebook before the event and I decided to buy it for my wife.

We spent two hours talking before I had to leave. It was so good to see him. Then I went home and started hacking away at my scrap iron.

Punks just popped a cracker in the neighbor's mailbox. She, I and the gent across the street met outside to collect the pieces. I'll fix it for her in the morning.

She was a little uncomfortable going of to work now, but I tried to comfort her a little. Those kids will probably stay away for a little while and it isn't likely they hit her specifically.
 
SO - nice new torque converter -- f-ing POS bolts up to three out of four flex plate holes no problem - CAN'T get the fourth one. Is it possible to get three and still not be oriented correctly?
