Is it leaking at a weld or from obvious corrosion? One thing about aluminum is that it work hardens and is suspect to cracking, heating and cooling does it just as much as twisting, flexing, and vibration. What brand and how old is it?
get you one of those Eastwood 22" cross flow radiators. $200 and they cool!!
Eastwood is very close to dumping that entire line. They are nothing more than universal, entry level quality units. At $200 it might be a good gamble but most of us are past the stage of gambling. coalman, you got very lucky with yours. Can't blame you for being happy. But the tri-flow experiment does not work well with aluminum and that line is fading fast.
With CC, it's the last one you will need. Lifetime warranty and if you want to be absolutely positive you have the best possible cooling option, you spend the extra and know that is you still have a problem, it's time to look somewhere else for the problem.
Sorry, Cold Case. We sponsor this forum.By CC is that Champion or another line of radiators? If so I have never heard of them.
I know Champion advertises a life time warranty to original purchaser. Thanks for response..
My aluminum radiator has started to leak, should I throw a can of stop leak in, or bite it and get a new one? Thanks
I have a Cold Case direct fit radiator in my 68 Dart GTS, the quality of this unit is second to none. I highly recommend Cold Case
