Yes and that reminds me, I need to pull mine and do that. They are a little noisy. I never worked at a Mopar dealer but I always thought they were lubed by the rear end lube. They are not.8 3/4 diff should the axle bearings be greased?
Or you can take out the tapered roller bearings and install "Green bearings" which are sealed double ball bearings. There are 2 different styles. I kind of like the flanged Mopar Performance style sold by Summit.that's why I asked
Yep. I owned many Mopars in the last 50 years and never had a 8 3/4 apart until a few years back. Never had to. LOLThe grease seal between the bearing and the center section is a sure giveaway!
