Went to a car show in a small town a few miles from here, great turnout, around 200 cars, considering that it's almost 90*f right now. I'll post some pics of the ones that caught my attention. Again I forgot to take pictures of the same 70 340 4 spd Swinger that I saw last weekend, but I did spend some time chatting with the owner.

View attachment 1715756877Was cleaning my Scamp this morning after yesterdays car show and look what's missing. Kinda hard for me to believe it fell off but hard to believe someone would have stole it. Hope I can find a new one without buying the complete set.
Thinking it blew off in the wind. I lost a top corner piece on my rear window. I had used the Cali Duster on it before going out. Drove about 10 miles and came back home, parked it in the garage and saw something strange on the right wiper blame. There is was. A wonder it hadn't blown off.

Cool here today and some rain. Boiled? I bet you are with all the heat.
We were supposed to get a lot of rain today. Absolutely bone dry but hot and very humid. Took the bride out for a drive in the Cuda. It was beautiful.
There used to be a big horse farm called Windfield Farms. We'd drive buy it and you could see the horses and the new fowls running around kicking their long hind legs. It was a beautiful site the watch. Years ago you could drive in on a Sunday and walk around. Made for a great afternoon out with mom and dad.
Of course it's all gone now and nothing but housing as far as the eye can see. Disgusting really. Instead of beautiful green pastures this is what you can see now.

Dinner tonight is a try to copy my wife's chicken roll up Mexican kinda thing. Chicken, cheese, cream cheese, olives, green peppers, Filo dough with butter between each layer of dough and a few other ingredients. Ready to go in the oven and hope I don't make a mistake and blow myself up. You guys all have wives and I have to put up with my own cooking and I tell ya so far my best cooking is my famous homemade Hormel canned chili for back up if I screw this dinner up.

It was smothered in sour cream and salsa and was like a crispy chicken enchilada. Not as good as my wife's but it was good. I saved the life of can of chili tonight. lol
