Ugh that really makes it worseMy buddy's place near Ft Campbell Ky. is gone. He just bought it in preparation for his upcoming retirement. He just moved a bunch of his family heirlooms there this past summer.
Damn, that sucks, but lucky if he was not there at the timeMy buddy's place near Ft Campbell Ky. is gone. He just bought it in preparation for his upcoming retirement. He just moved a bunch of his family heirlooms there this past summer.

Hopefully he’ll find as much of the heirlooms as possibleTo lessen the moving load when he pulls the plug on work next fall

It’s possible but will be a challenge. Reading reports that radar was picking up large debris at 39,000 feet AGL. For those that don’t know, most civilian airliners cruise between 30,000 and 40,000 ft AGLHis son the Chinnook crew chief from Ft Campbell is on "salvage detail" at the place right now.

Here’s something to chew on. This is the tri state tornados path of 1925.Oh yeah. Could be miles from the ranch.
Second picture is today’s quad state path. Damn near same trajectory just a few dozen miles southHere’s something to chew on. This is the tri state tornados path of 1925.

So sad. A bit surprised the Sh*thooks were even in the path. Or outside. Normally they move those around or inside.Just got some details from the home boy. Some of the main house survived, his barn, not so much. The boy got called to work at the base to upright Chinooks that were toppled over in the winds. Kid said with all the debris in the roads he had a helluva time gettin' to the ranch. The homie's neighbor called early this AM PST to give him some of the info, the neighbor's place was completely destroyed.
Not just derailed, tossed like a rag doll.Thought of a train gettin' derailed like that never entered my mind
Thanks guys, yeah it was 35-45 miles from my yard, everything is good from what my mom who lives close by told me. I live about 75 miles north of there, we didn't have any damage, thankfully. It might be @kyle's 340 you're thinking of? I've bought parts from him before...hope he and his family are ok.
Wow! Glad you’re okSome pictures from my brother, it missed my parents house by less than a half mile.
