Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
I saw the NWS had a "hard freeze warning" on the northern side of the Great Lakes last night. Here in Ca today, the northern half of the San Joaquin catches fire, the southern half is HOT.

Mom lives 45 miles south of Lake Superior - it snowed yesterday. Too cold to do anything yard wise. Yuck

We're supposed to get some June Gloom the rest of the week, foggy nights and mornings and burning off noonish. Some years I could see the 4th of July fireworks from the front yard, most years just hear the booms and see the fog glow unless you were directly underneath them

Morning, windy and cold here again, back to the 80s by the weekend. Cold temps just make the coffee taste that much better.

It’ll burn, but I wouldn’t use it for more than a camp fire. Doesn’t burn well unless seasoned a long time and even then, the heat out put isnt very good or long

What kind of seasoning do you use on a tree like that??? Lowreys????

When the birds eat the blackberries, they have purple **** on the cars...
I was told the back here was actually a field of raspberries like 40-50 years ago. There were a few left near the back corner but most died out now. Also had a bunch of Mulberry trees. Only ones left are way down back -far from the cars... There must be a nest in the Cedar near where I park. They poop bombed my car the other day. Gonna go check here shortly and see if I need to hose it off again.

Busy. Got started early, office junk almost moved across driveway.

Had to stop. Hurting a little. A lot. Yup. Rest an hour or so, then back at it.

Resting now as well. I was on my knees for over an hour planting some flowers. It's hard for me to bend over while on my knees. It kills my lower back and I have a hell of a time getting back up to my feet.

Are you going to Mopars In The Park?
At this point I do not think we are going to be able to make it. We are trying to stuff ten pounds in a five pound box. I have got a carbine class in Little Rock that week and then have to defend my State title with pistols the following weekend. And in between, we are trying to build a house and get moved back home to Ark. I am running out of weekends. There is just not enough of me to be everywhere I want to be at the same time. It will likely be a game time decision. At very best I would zoom in for a day and zoom out. Just not sure yet. It is a two day drive each way to Ark from here pulling trailer as it is just North of 1,000 miles each way.
