Oh shoot. I didn’t read that part. Sorry.
No problem at all.

Either the front or rear seat has been changed, but both patterns were available with 69 Darts. Nice to see the original steering wheel on the floor!
Underneath pics pls. ?It had the original rad in the trunk so I put it back in, new hoses and fitting for the bypass hose, filled the rad and coolant poured out of the lower tank as fast as I poured it in. Plus they had pulled the oil pressure unit out which made a big mess in my shop when it fired up! I really appreciate the thoughts on the value, thanks everybody.
The front seat on this 69 Dart has the optional headrests and the seat covers are original.
My 1969 Dart Swinger 340 had the exact same seats and I purchased car from the original owner in 1997. Mine had not been tampered with whatsoever. The Hamtramck website with original dealer brochure:

I have owned a couple dozen original 69 Dart Swingers and yes, the front seat is the correct pattern for the car it came out of originally. He said the rear seat is original because the broadcast sheet was found in it. That pattern was also available on a 69 Dart Swinger. All I am saying is the front seat is not original to THIS car, it came from another 69 Dart or someone at the factory put two different seats in the same car...The front seat on this 69 Dart has the optional headrests and the seat covers are original.

All you would need to do in Alberta is have a bill of sale, then when you putting the road you would need an out of province inspection. The head rests were mandatory after December 31, 1968.
And the scheduled build date is 5/21/69 so it came with them automatically.
Sorry to hear about the MS diagnosis Canucklehead, do you have a bill of sale from Alberta?
Where in Alberta did it come from?
We have a totally different system here in Alberta as opposed to B.C.

Look at the dampner.Interesting that the engine has a pre-69 water pump and 340 intake but 70-up valve covers...
Look at the dampner and it gets more interesting, looks 360
Shortly after posting that I went back and read to make sure...and sure enough you did.. so I edited my reply already. It is a 360. I mentioned that in my first post.
If you well that black steering wheel sitting in the car, let me know.
All you had to do was say it was for your car. say no more and enjoy your car... before it disintegrates.
Since it was the point of this post..
Mo- its oddly optioned and a great car in general, just gotta know metalworking. It's got rot at both ends, the floor and wherever else. Basically if this was a slant or regular 318 car.. a lot of people would part it and move on. I'm not saying I would ..but just painting a faiir clear picture here. You won't get the money if you were to ever sell it like a guy restoring a four-speed h code car would ...though you'll find you're going to put about the $ame amount of work into it.
Save it and share the progress with us if you want.
My friend had a 1971 gt that was in an odd yellow color with painted black roof , 8 3/4 3.23 and disc brake 318 auto. Neet car cause it was oddly optioned and mostly cause it was clean. 2 months later it was side swiped in long beach, parked, by a drunk in a panel van. Parted it.
He got more for the rear end than he paid for the car.
Sorry to hear about your condition. Stay strong.I was explaining that the loose parts came out of my collection and are not for sale. Sorry if I added a few words.
If you go back to my first post, I explained that I’ve been diagnosed with a neurological disease that sucks the energy out of a person so i won’t be the guy to save it. That is why it’s a WIW post.
I totally hear what you say. Let me clear up a possible misunderstanding. I am NOT saying that a project car has to be running and driving. What I AM saying is that if you cannot hear the engine run, you must assume it needs to be rebuilt. And if it does not run, that means you can't see if it will move under its own power. So you don't know if the transmission and/or clutch are any good. Again, I would assume the tranny needs to be rebuilt. It is up to the seller to adequately prove/convince the buyer that the engine, tranny, etc are in operating order. If the seller cannot do that you really have to assume it all needs to be rebuilt. If one pays too much for a project car hoping that the drivetrain will be OK and not cost you a lot of money, they will likely wind up spending a LOT more than planned on it. That is all I was saying. One has to consider things like that when buying a project car. And about the rust; once the paint is stripped, there is usually at least twice as much rust under the paint than what you can see before. While I accept your critiques about the car, you seem to expect a project car to be something that runs and drives and has no rust repair necessary. Pretty difficult to find that these days anywhere that’s not California or Arizona, but getting hard to find even down there recently.
