Uncle Tony's take on injection issues.

That was part of the reason I deleted a lot of my how to videos a while back. I figure if they're mowing down Tony, they'd have no problem doin it to me so I pulled um.

That’s a bummer. Just turn off the comments.

You are helping people. They may not say it but you are.

Don’t let your knowledge go to waste. All those grey hairs you are sporting are well earned.

I don't claim to be the inventor or brainchild behind anything that I do. I'm confident in my display of it, but not trying to own it, besides my approach to port mods. I just like to demonstrate so people can see how. I like to share what I'm doing. People watch and look for what the next hot topic and dog pile on youtube.. I did the 302 head video that no one had so far done like I did and it wasn't but a short time after that David pisshard, servedo and Uncle phony jumped on it and Juiced it for all it was worth, even doing unnecessary **** like sectioning a head because they don't ******* know what they're working with. It does make it hard to share anything anymore. I've been sticking to shorts because I'm not going to put a bunch of time into something so another idealess asshole can take and run with it for their income.

100% fact. I’ve been to have and still have some of the best mentors ever.

I lost my dad last month so that one is gone, but I stand on the shoulders of men far smarter and better than me.
You have my deepest sympathy. I knew he hadn't been well.

I never have gotten a grey one yet. They've gone from fire orange when I was young, to auburn as I've gotten older and now straight to white. I have lots of auburn left on my head, but my beard is 100% white now.

I see lots of insecurity from others as far as Tony is concerned. Why people cannot just let someone do their own thing, I just don't understand.
If that were all there is to it, you'd be right. But he makes messes other people have to clean up…

…on places like FABO.

Sorry to hear of your loss...

Yeah Tony does that he needs content he has to post a video a day to keep it going. Hel has posted multiple Holley carb videos because he runs out of content. people click he gets paid. wash rinse repeat. You have a good point about sharing info people don't appreciate it and want to argue let them struggle I say. I see it here someone is having an issue I'll say "check for spark, fuel, timing ,and major internal mechanical damage" those 4 things will cause your engine to not run i's as simple as that . what happens someone tells them to troubleshoot wiring for the ignition. why not check spark first before tearing into the ignition wiring? It isn't difficult troubleshooting if you stay focused you can narrow things down quick. me? i dont want to tear my ignition apart if the car is out of gas... I'm lazy and don't have time for chasing ghosts...

Sorry to hear that, not sure how I'll take that when My turn comes, Jim.

I don't think I'll ever understand the entertainment appeal of uselessly wrong info presented semi-coherently
A quote from George Carlin comes to mind,

“Think of how stupid the average guy is, and then remember, half of em are stupider than that!”

There are more stupid people than smart people so the average common sense guy is probably not that smart if that makes sense...also the herd can be manipulated by someone like Uncle Tony that a 318 can be made to do a 10 sec quarter mile in a B body to which Tony never proved possible. People believed it and watched and waited for it for a very long time YT clicks achieved.

318's don't need UTG to prove they can go 10's, it's been done long before Bottle Rocket. But, Bottle Rocket isn't all that far off from 10's either, it's an 11 second car.

That pile of crap cant make a 1/4 mile pass in one peice.
maybe, maybe not. It ran 7.60 @ 90-91 mph in the 1/8, that's well into the 11's. It would just need to hold together another 4 seconds :D LOL

I would like to have that car, I like the concept and the color. I would make some changes to it, but push it forward.

I'm sure if you show up with a trailer and about 1500 bucks he would sell it. But you probably have to take your own battery.

Well into the 11's? That will get you barely into the 11.9 range and high side of that with 90 mph, 91 might get you into the 11.8 if you rock the 60'

It would definitely go 10's pushed off a cliff of the Grand Canyon.

That's cool. 318 with factory cast heads, and older than dirt intake, in a street B-body all put together in a storage shed going 11's on shot. Still cool. I still think the concept and car is cool. I couldn't care less who owns it. :)

Yeah, we have a member here who is a local friend of mine. Although he's not run the car in a while, he has a 77 I think it is Gran Fury Wagon. It's nickname is "5300" because that's what it weighs. It's indexed mid 12s in the 1/8 mile. Stock bore and stroke 440. 10:1 pump gas motor with iron heads. No nitrous. I'm unsure if he's ever run it 1/4 or not. It's built with what I'd call "better execution" than Tony's car, but it's big, heavy and cool. Tony's car is too. It's funny. If it was anybody else but him, we'd all be laughing with it and talking about how cool it is that such "junk" can run fast. Everything's against it. The size and weight, the small engine, everything. But it's run faster and quicker than a lot of things here. Tony's racing and having fun. I see nothing wrong with that.

Awwww, shucks. Anybody who strips a TQ on the kitchen bench has gotta be a good guy.......

What's funny is that when he was on FABO (Whitepunkonnitro I believe), I enjoyed his posts and thought he was quite knowledgeable. I just can't get into his show on YouTube.

I remember watching a few videos when he built that thing. It's been extensively gutted, it weighs 3100 lbs race ready according to him. It has a custom built converter, 4 something gears, fully ported heads, and a roller cam, and it's only went in the 7s one time, spraying nitrous the whole 1/8th mile. It's a joke.
