Jets will have to play a much better team game tomorrow than last time they faced the Leafs. I have to work so I won't be able to watch it, make do with the recap.
Makes you wonder, doesn't it? The Jets had their hands full against Utah as well, yet they go into Toronto and wipe the ice with the Leafs. At least the Wild are still in a playoff spot.So the Wild can beat the Maple Leafs, at ScotiaBank, no less, but they can't beat Utah, either at home or on the road?
And Kaprizov is out for at least 4 more weeks....
I'm getting pretty sick of this season.

There are rumours the Canucks and Leafs might make a trade given Vancouver needs to offload either Miller or Pettersson since they can’t get along with each other. Maybe one of the ‘cour four’ gets moved now?The new coach(Berube) bump is wearing off. Leafs win 1 or 2, lose 1 or 2. No consistency at all. Stollarz got hurt and is due back soon, but goaltending hasn't lost them games. Knies was just finding his role before injury and Tavares was having a heckuva year too. All teams face injuries, suck it up.

To be clear, I’m not a Canucks fan (just have to say that since a member here assumed I was since I live in Vancouver and wouldn’t stop harping on it. The ignore feature is great).
Yeah even my friends who are diehard Canuck fans know that EP40 contract is a bad one. His style of play is very similar to Johnny Gaudreau (RIP), visible in the regular season and invisible in the playoffs.Yeah, heard that as well. No thanks neither of those for a core four player. GM in Van should be ball kicked for signing EP to THAT contract. Miller would be a good fit but 5-6 a year tops. Sucks cuz Van looked like they were rounding a corner last year....
Wow. I hope some of you guys just caught Fleury's last game to his hometown of Montreal. The Wild over the Habs in a shut-out, but regardless of that, the whole arena was chanting Fleury's name near the end of the game. And multiple standing ovations. Pretty cool to watch.
Final score Jets 6, Bruins 2.For those not watching, 5-2 'Peg making Booins their *****. In Boston....![]()
Marc Andre Fleury has always been first class. I remember seeing him on Counting Cars when he was playing for VGK. Hehad a pretty sweet 71 or 72 Chevelle convertible built.Wow. YesDang, missed it. Habs were his team as a youngster(won't hold that against him) lol.
Was he in net?
No surprise there. Didn’t watch it, wasn’t home, but still…..Wild get embarrassed by Ottawa 6-0.
I was watching the Jets/Caps game of course, but in the intermissions there were replays of some of the highlights, and a lowlights or two. I just read that Ryan Hartman has been 'offered' an in person hearing after his very foolish attack on Tim Stutzle. Not a good look for the team or Hartman. No surprise there. Didn’t watch it, wasn’t home, but still…..
In other news, local golf courses are now accepting t-time reservations.
Damn! I didn't watch the game, and thus I didn't know of this until now.I was watching the Jets/Caps game of course, but in the intermissions there were replays of some of the highlights, and a lowlights or two. 100% agree!Damn! I didn't watch the game, and thus I didn't know of this until now.
Watching the replay(s) makes me ill, and as far as I'm concerned: Fire his *** (Hartman).
I have no "beef" with the occasional fight during a game, as it has it's purpose, but I've often felt that the NHL would be better respected, by the general public, if they instituted a rule stating that any player who injures another player, and causes that player to miss games, deserves to "sit out" the same amount of games as the injured player. Break a guys nose and make him miss two games? Same to you, buddy! Give the other guy a concussion and he's out for the season? Enjoy playing golf, asshole! (And should your team win the Cup, your name doesn't go on it!)
And if he knowingly causes serious injury, which may the case here, not only should the offender be benched, but he also be penalized in some way financially. Make him pay the others guys hospital bills? Maybe, I don't know....
I love the game, and as I said, I have no issue with the random fights that get the crowd going. I know they serve a prupose, as does probably every other person who reads this thread, as we all know they're not intended to cause serious harm
But the NHL has to realize they have an image problem, and this kind of **** (Hartman, et al) has to stop.
