6.) should we do "pre-orders" for the calendars to see the genuine interest??
7.) pics should be tasteful since these are actual members, friends, wives etc
8.) pics do not necessarily have to be in a bikini

** if this is successful we could do this every year to raise money for site upgrades and or for helping out our members in this tough economy.

Ladies..... any other ideas..??

The picture that got this calender idea started was that of a members girl sitting in an engine compartment with a wirewheel on a drill on a less than perfect car. I think real pictures like that would be as good if not better than something staged. Bring on the wagon!
 
thats kinda what I was thinking real pics of real cars and real girls! yes good quality pics are needed but real pics. I know Tara is more than willing kini or not.

I really hope this calendar idea becomes reality.. I am pre ordering now! LOL ..
 
Next time I'm home I plan on getting some good shots of my unfinished A-Body w/ a young hottie who owes me a very serious favor...I'd love to contribute.
 
When this gets put together I have the perfect front cover picture or at least in the calendar.
She and her father has taught me allot and warmed my hart to a few tears of happy feelings and make me count my blessings :cheers: She has the most pretty smile and a very cool Cuda :cheers:

Here is one that I would like to see if they would give permission to have it in the first calendar

Good call memike, let's keep it real and tastefull....no smut, not that I dont enjoy some skin but there are other sites and calenders for that. :-D
 
So, who wants to put together a release form for this thing? I'm pretty sure I've got some sort of standard for that kinda thing laying around somewhere.
 
Adam. Talk to djvcuda. He put a calendar together for the guys at my site. Came out awesome. Way better the anything cafe press could do
 
If this project is approved we need to have 3 or more different calenders made up. We can have one with the ladies and their rides, one with cars only, and one with cars and people of special interest to the site..............or we could print a 3 year calender. :-D

Hey Longgone, getting the first one done is the charm. LOL

But I like your idea of the ladies and THEIR RIDES, which should all be A Bodies. If they (or their significant other) doesn't own the car, it shouldn't be featured in a FABO calendar. Just my .02.

exactly! real people with real cars.

The idea isn't to make anyone feel unconformable, I personally don't think a kini is necessary for every month but we do have some good looken women and good looken A bodys that would go very well together.

HEY now........i'm a chick w/a car.......being a REAL person w/a REAL car...no need to leave me out cuz i have an E body......
