why can't they make the port to the shape of the port "after it's been ported" before it's been ported? LOL.... I'm talking when they form the head, make the ports to the shape it's going to be after it's been ported so no porting is necessary... :)

A company makes a head, then offers a CNC ported version. Why not mold the head in the shape of a ported head to begin with?

I think Edelbrock certainly could be here as well, as much of their product is formed, machined right here in the USA. Again, if a company offers a large variety of parts, it's hard not to have some imported pieces. But I think Edelbrock qualifies as a USA supplier from all that I know...
