If you are going to blow it out them start blowing with the soap on it so you can clean up all the dirt that will be blown out from under the trim and edges.

Poly 318 bracket is a one piece unit.

2 on left Power steering brackets SB mopar 1970 and up. The two open holes bolt to the lower timing cover. The welded nut is for the pivot bolt for adjusting the pump. #3 bare metal looks like alternator bracket for non AC. #4 black is bent, unsure of what it is.

Not what was on factory Chrysler Holley 4bbl amd 6 bbl carbs. All factory 6bbl carbs have 4 digit dates on them 1968-1971.

These plugs on Carter's can be easily replaced. They come in some kits. And did you think about what's behind these plugs before you drill holes? These are air/fuel passages that don't need drill shavings or epoxy in them. The place for epoxy is on holleys where the metal of the carb is...

Why not 1972? They were daring holleys like this in the late 60's

Your engine looks great inside, congrats. use newspaper in the valley to catch the foreign material. Then take the sides in to center and all the scrapings are in the paper, quick and easy. Vacuuming out the thermostat was not necessary, just drain the radiator was enough to not spill any...
