Not what was on factory Chrysler Holley 4bbl amd 6 bbl carbs. All factory 6bbl carbs have 4 digit dates on them 1968-1971.

These plugs on Carter's can be easily replaced. They come in some kits. And did you think about what's behind these plugs before you drill holes? These are air/fuel passages that don't need drill shavings or epoxy in them. The place for epoxy is on holleys where the metal of the carb is...

No, it won't get any more out of the block than opening the radiator drain. I showed you photo proof of this. Water runs down hill. That lower hose isn't holding any coolant after you drain the radiator.

You will be fine, draining the radiator will get the coolant low enough so you won't have any spill when removing the intake. If you remove heads it will be a big mess without draining the block.

741 is plenty strong, especially for a street driven vehicle. It is bigger than a stock 9" ford.

What are you putting it in? Or is it staying in the pickup? Tapered axles are a pain in the rear. I own 3 in old cars. Life is much easier with a flanged axle.

They are that hot, they screw into the head which is water cooled.

Vendor number Rad dates are 4 stamped digits in the pass on side bracket, three digit for the day and one for year.

Remove all plugs so it turns over easier. Put some rope in first then gently move piston up with a breaker bar on crank bolt. much easier. Don't use the starter!
