I have Dr Diff axles on my 8 3/4 (green Bearings); will the Dr Diff brakes fit over the axle flange or does it need to be turned down like other brands of brakes? The od is exactly 6 1/8"

Thanks for the Pics; that makes sense because when I had the orig 71 904 and the 81 904 on the shop floor the converters would not interchange and I had 3 different non lockup converters to try from. The 81 was already build so I used it.
Do you know if the input shaft is the only difference...
I'm not trying to keep it original; if it will fit and look good w/o any modification to the Lid or clearance issue with the upper 1/4 panel, I would be ok with just adding it to the car.

I saw an install in one of my old mopar rags and they used an oblong bracket similar to this cutout. Is the the same as your Dart? BTW this is the factory cutout to the best of my knowledge, the trunk lid still has the QA stamp...
