Not using this trans. The mount is about 6" past the cross member and it is too wide. The cross member would have to be cut out. After doing more research I don't think it would take any type of horsepower or pounding.

The only problem with toluene is that it will KILL you. This stuff is highly toxic. Look it up.

Thanks for your input. I dom't think it was anything I did when I changed the springs. Changed the locks and retainers at the same time. Valve spring heights were ok. Besides, if something was wrong from the start I don't think it would have lasted for 50 plus passes (1/4 mile) and at least 100...

Has anybody out there had any problems with these heads? I put a set on my car this year with good and bad results. The motor is, was a 383 with 12.5:1 compression, .590/312 purple shaft cam, edelbrock victor intake. All I did to the heads was change the springs and opened up the pushrod holes...

Sounds like the rad is statring to plug up. I had the same problem with my car but it ran at 230. Itried electric water pump and fans, 22" rad to a 26", mechanical water pump and fan, Boiled and flow tested the 26" rad and still no luck. Put the rad out of my buddy"s 68 dart, 22" 3 row. It was...

Fixed my overheating problem. Installed a new rad , 22X17 3 row out of a 68 dart. The car runs 180 in 90 degree weather and 160 when it is cool out. No shroud and a stock 7 blade fan.

driving on the highway with the cruise on and pass the same car at least 5 times or the guy who tailgates you in the fastlane (allready speeding) goes 3 lanes wide to get in front of you then cuts back across the 3 lanes to exit the highway less then a 1/4 mile down the road.

The part that gets me is I have a 68 newport custom with a stock 383 2 bbl. This car has 93.000 original miles. Ican drive it on the highway at 80 mph all day and it won't over heat. It can be driven in bumper to bumper traffic in the heat and it won't overheat. It never has left a coolant...

Check out usbodysource.com was there and saw fenders and stuff for early a bodies. Prices not bad considering what people want for used stuff. I was looking for parts for my 66, all thet had for that was a hood.

Lookig for interior parts for a 1960 Rambler Cross Country Custom Wagon. Need door panels, headliner, door seals and so on. Iknow it's not a mopar but any help would be great.
