What year Duster? I have a 74 and the cap sits 2 inches above the core support. I'm concerned about clearance. I don't want to complete the install until I'm sure it will clear. Thanks.

I am attempting to reconstruct a v8 spool mount k member driver side engine perch. Is the perch on the driver side approx 6-7mm higher than the perch on the passenger side. Is that correct? I'm pretty sure I can still see the original location where the mount bolts sat..most of it has been cut...
