1968 Barracuda Notch - Plano, TX

The white LEDs do look sharper. Congratulations on the meticulous work, as usual. I had the Dakota Digital RTX guages in my 70 Roadrunner, with so many color combinations of needles, backlight, etc I couldn't list them all. Regarding color, RED at night makes for better night vision for...

That's really considerate of her.. In this picture, is what appears to be a vertical tube I have indicated w/the yellow curly brace a fluid level indicator? If so, that's really handy!

So... Your awesome custom build and layout uses "common Auto Parts Stores' over-the-counter parts"...Excellent! Easy goin'!!:poke::lol: (although it requires a number of different manufacturers, models, and years to get them) The belt may be the most challenging part to get in the...

N²O timing, 2-step LAUNCH CONTROL, DATA LOGGING now w/Progression Ignition

That is something I thought would be a good idea to get the required FULL POWER to the unit as the installation manual demands. Can you provide details on that part of your installation? I have a couple of relays I installed for other high draw electrical items, like my 2 SPAL fans, but how you...

N²O timing, 2-step LAUNCH CONTROL, DATA LOGGING now w/Progression Ignition

Thank you for the kind comments. There are a few things in life that REALLY ARE TRULY EXCEPTIONAL in one or more ways, and the rarity of discovering them, appreciating the outstanding traits or qualities, having a need or desire (or both) for one of life's jewels, and the ultimate: being able...

N²O timing, 2-step LAUNCH CONTROL, DATA LOGGING now w/Progression Ignition

In January of 2022 I was ready to buy the new smaller diameter billet aluminum distributor from Progression. I was concerned the original unit would require clearancing on TrickFlow heads and fabbed aluminum valve covers. I have always been amazed by the capabilities of the Progression Ignition...

    best racing ign system.

THE best ignition system for any carbureated engine, ever... They have added a "racing" package of capabilities that are quite impressive. Nitrous timing retard, 2-step RPM limited LAUNCH CONTROL and DATA LOGGING. BOOST timing compensation has been part of the system for years.

I have Dakota Digital gauge clusters in both the 65 GTO and my 70 Roadrunner. There were speedo cable clearance issues in the GTO, so I used the DD version of that same device, a GPS based speedometer that converts data to mechanical rotation of the speedometer cable. Works great!

    572 RB Street motor advice?

I looked at that MSD 7531, very trick piece! Well, I am going to use the new version (smaller diameter billet aluminum distributor) of the Progression Ignition system. If you aren't familiar with it, the advance is fully programmable in small increments via phone app. It also has vacuum advance...

If you could pick one car show to attend....

Glad to hear that! I may be mixing up your reply "Mopars in the Park"...Are you talking about that event or are you referring to the Thursday Mopar event at Cruisin the Coast? That is "Mopars in Da Bay" although it looks like a park, and it's just near the water, but in Bay Saint Louis. Lol.

    572 RB Street motor advice?

That makes me feel better. I don't know how you are doing that on a 275, but I may lean on you for help once I get the 572 in and I've at least made a video or 2 and tried some of my many traction aids, made adjustments, made an effort.... I'd like to have enough tire/wheel width...

If you could pick one car show to attend....

Late to seeing this thread, but Cruisin the Coast in October is a MUST! I live about 45 minutes west from the western end of CtC which goes from Bay Saint Louis MS on the west end to Ocean Springs on the easternmost end. Always early October, usually from the first Sunday thru the following...

    572 RB Street motor advice?

@beepbeep46 Here's the last thing I'll post unless you or anyone else has any questions. This is my "overly detailed but hey, I can't help myself" signature that covers a lot of the details of parts and systems in my 70 Roadrunner. I will thank God when I find the time and a few $20 bills on...

    572 RB Street motor advice?

IF I were to know how far I was going with the stroker 2 years ago, I probably wouldn't have let "the forum" talk me out of the GERST or RMS triangulated 4 link that I was intent upon getting. I know there are 9 second cars on leaf springs, and I like the Calvert split mono leaf springs and...
